THE BEEPNFIT SYSTEM, AND HOW IT WORKS?
We are an interval based, HIIT workout digital training system that allows you to keep your workouts on your phone or media player you for use at the gym, at home, the park or your hotel room. Simply purchase a digital workout from the website, load the Mp3's onto your media device, iphone or android phone or stream them live and experience the difference of BEEPNFIT training systems.
We have taken the concept of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), customised each workout by using a unique series of timed intervals and functional movements. Then we made it easy to follow by adding warning beeps at the intervals and verbal instruction for the movements.
We design and create workouts that are not only easy to follow but are time efficient, results focused and versatile with varying levels of difficulty so there is no excuse for anyone out there not to try a BEEPNFIT workout.
Currently there are 4 categories of workouts. They include:
- Home
- Park
- Gym
- Challenges
- Fitness Tests
- Free Weekly HIIT workout Podcast
- A 12 week Program (coming soon!)
There are 11 levels of difficulty divided into 4 groups. We rate the workouts on a scale of 1-11 to be Unique. 10=Very hard, 11=Beepn hard. A Beginners workout will have a difficulty rating of 1-4 (yellow), Intermediate 5-7 (orange), Advanced 8-10 (red), 11 = The 11's (blue).
Workout codes are characterised by their Category, Classification, Track Number and Level of Difficulty. For example the track code GWA1.8 means Gym Workout (GW), Advanced (A), Track number 1, Difficulty Level = 8.
WHY IT WORKS
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. “A high-intensity workout increases the body’s need for oxygen during the effort and creates an oxygen shortage, causing your body to ask for more oxygen during recovery,” says Eric Salvador, NASM, NSCA, head instructor at The Fitting Room in New York City. “This after burn effect is referred to as Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) and is the reason why intense exercise will help burn more fat and calories than regular aerobic and steady-state workouts.”
HIIT the SpotNot totally convinced? Here are a few other benefits from HIIT.
1. Increases Your Metabolism
Combing high intensity with interval training results in EPOC, which speeds your metabolic rate and “translates into a metabolism boost for up to 48 hours after a complete HIIT routine,” says Salvador. This means you’ll still be burning fat even after you’ve left the gym.
2. Quick and Convenient
Long gone are the days of not having enough time for exercise. HIIT workouts is can be done anywhere: at home, in a hotel room, in a park, at a gym, etc. And most are 30 minutes or less! Who can’t spare that?
3. No Equipment Necessary
No dumbbells? No problem! HIIT workouts generally use only your body weight, since the focus is on getting your heart rate up and keeping it there. These workouts result in “optimal muscle building and muscle retention couples with fat loss and increased calorie burn,” says Salvador.
Ready for a challenge? Try your hand (or full body, rather) at Salvador’s Do-It-Anywhere Chipper Workout. “The most beneficial use of this workout would be in conjunction with some loaded strength exercises,” says Salvador. “However, this is also an effective and extremely efficient workout that can be done anywhere when pressed for time.” Perform each exercise with 30 seconds of rest in between. Be sure to give one hundred percent effort during the exercises. Repeat every other day with the goal of completing it faster each time.
